Steel double-edged blade has on 19 cms. etching, gilding, bluing in the form of lists of acanthus and bay-tree weaved by the sea rope. On the heel there is a picture of anchor, sea steering-wheel, small barrels and oars. On the back side, in the frames of vignette on the background of the anchor there is an image of the trade mark and inscription (in Russian): "Zlatoust. 1998". On the side facets there are inscriptions in Russian "Zlatoust city. (Author) O.B. Ryabkov".
The steel grip is barrel-like, has a pommel, 2 ferrules and a cross piece. There is a portrait of the Peter the First on the grip - framed with laurel branches, gun barrels and banners. On the back side, in the frames of a vignette there is inscription in Russian "Peter the First". The pommel is in the form of a globe with sailing vessels.
The cross piece is upright and figured, on the cross bar there is picture of the Guards' Andreev (sea) ensign with sea ropes and bay-tree lists.
The steel sheath is embellished with stylized vegetable ornament and sea rope. In the upper part of the sheath there is a picture of anchor. Underneath - 2 sword-fishes entwining a trident and garlands of laurel lists.
